Project Settings

[Project_Settings] are a set of properties defining the configuration of your [Project]. This is really handy to ensure some settings such as the render resolution, framerate, output directories, shot [Handles]… are not changed by error during the manipulations done in the scene.

Opening the Project Settings panel

The Project Settings panel can be opened from the top right menu of the main StoryLiner panel.

Project Settings Mode

StoryLiner supports settings saved in an external json file. This allows all your scenes to point to the same configuration.

Project Settings can be applied in 3 different ways to your scenes:

  • Localy, to the current scene only

  • From a settings file, also to the current scene

  • From a settings file and applied to the current scene and to every new scene of the current Blender file
