The Objects Toggle feature is directly available from the shot Properties panel.
How to use the Objects Toggle
Making a shot control the visibility state of some objects is pretty simple:
Select an object in the scene,
Select a shot in the shot list of the main panel of StoryLiner and go to its Properties panel,
Expand the Objects Toggle panel and click on the Add (“+”) button.
By default the referenced object will be visible when the shot is the current one. You can make it hidden instead, just check the Hide in Viewport
and Hide in Renders buttons located on the right side of the object name in the list.
Then, when the shot becomes the current one:
objects of the list that are flagged to be visible will be displayed,
objects of the list that are flagged to be hidden will be hidden,
other objects are not changed.
At the same time, the shot that WAS the current one (and which is not the current one anymore) will “revert” the state of the objects it references.
