Camera Display Filter

Sometimes there are so many cameras in the scene that it becomes difficult not only to see which camera belong to which shot but also where is the camera located in space in all that wireframe overlays.

Hence this feature. When the Camera Display Filter mode is activated, only the relevant cameras get displayed in the scene.

There are 3 possible states:

  • Camera Display Filter is off: (Default)

That’s the default state. Camera visibility is managed but only relevant filtering is done: Cameras of other edits are then hidden, as those of disabled shots.

  • Camera Display Filter is on:

Filter is activated. The settings that are used in that mode are those set in the Camera Display Filter dialog window. To open it, right-click on the Filter button and choose the item “Tool Settings: Filter Displayed Cameras”.

  • Camera Display is not managed at all:

This let you completely handle the camera visibility in the scene. As it was before the introduction of the feature.

To completely turn off the camera display management, press Shift and click on the Camera Display Filter button.
